Don't Let this Weather End!
Wow! Have you been enjoying this weather as much as I have? Between Veteran's Day weekend and this most recent spell, we have had some incredible weather. I've
- Played tennis at Quincy Park - You can get a listing of all Arlington public tennis courts online,
- Went bike riding - check out BikeArlington for some great trail tips
- Went out to eat and sat in the outdoor seating
- Played a little pick-up touch football to help get rid of all that turkey
- Did some running - check out WalkArlington for some ideas on walking/running trails
- Ate lunch outside and read Life of Pi - available at your local Arlington library
The weather forecasts suggests we've got a few more days of this before we start to get some more seasonable cold temperatures, so get out there and enjoy it while you can!

Greetings -
Do you know of any weekly adult volleyball games in Arlington? My husband is a great player and he's had a six month hiatus.
Thanks for your help!

I'm not a big volleyball player so I can't vouch for quality, but I can give a few tips:
Thomas Jefferson Community Center (TJ) - 3501 2nd St S (Arlington) - Tuesdays and Thursdays are adults only - there is a (very cheap) membership fee - $115 annually for Arlington residents
Arlington Athletic and Social League (www.playaasl.com) - unfortunately, I think you just missed their season.
DC Metro Volleyball Group which plays in Crystal City (but outdoors).
I believe Sport and Health in Crystal City also has volleyball.

Some more information about volleyball at TJ - from the facility manager:
"During the colder months, (NOV., DEC., JAN., FEB) we could have both courts going at the same time. Although volleyball is offered everyday, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays are the more attended days. and they normally start playing around 7:30 p.m."
