Washington, DC (September 7, 2009) – Misunderestimated Productions, LLC announces the return of the Funniest Fed® Competition, sponsored by Federal News Radio. Funniest Fed® is a competition in which current Federal employees and members of the military compete for the title of DC’s Funniest Federal Employee by performing original standup routines in front of a live audience. Twenty-percent (20%) of the contest proceeds will be donated to the Fisher House Foundation.
Thirty-two (32) federal employees will compete in the 5-week contest which begins on Wed. Sept. 16th at 7:30 pm at the Arlington Cinema Drafthouse in Arlington,VA. Contestants hail from the U.S. Departments of Treasury, Environmental Protection, State, Homeland Security, Justice Heath and Human Services as well as the Federal Highway Administration, Smithsonian, Federal Election Commission, Census Bureau and the U.S. Senate among others.
